Kitchen maintenance-how to do moisture-proof and anti-corrosion solid wood cabinets

Mildew spots are prone to appear:

1. Cabinet body:

There are a lot of ingredients in the cabinet. When the door is closed, the environment inside the cabinet is relatively closed, and the sealing bag for the ingredients is not closed enough. In case of humid weather, the humidity and temperature of the cabinet will be enhanced to provide survival conditions for molds.

2. Adhesive strips:

When installing cabinet countertops or sinks, the workers will often put glass glue on the wall once, one for fixing, and the other for isolating the air. But usually we don't pay much attention to this strip when cleaning the sink and countertop. Over time, if the quality of the glass glue is not good, curling will occur, and the glue strip will accumulate a lot of mold, which is the black brown spots we usually see.

3. Cutting board:

cutting vegetables, fruit, and meat are all used to cut vegetables, which will inevitably be contaminated with juices. The common cutting boards are made of wood or bamboo boards. Those juices flow into the grooves and grooves on the surface of the board. Rinse with water after use may not be able to rinse off. It becomes a breeding ground for bacteria.

Anti-mold method:

1. Anti-mold glue is required for the installation of cabinets. Stick the side seams firmly to effectively block water vapor.

2. Put a moisture-proof pad in the cabinet. Although it is only a thin layer, it can absorb and decompose peculiar smells and prevent the intrusion of moisture and dirt from the bottom up. Even if the oil stains, soy sauce, etc. can be easily wiped off with wet wipes, they will not penetrate the membrane to invade the bottom plate, preventing bacteria from multiplying.

3. Clean the kitchen regularly in daily life, and keep the kitchen well ventilated. If in particularly humid weather, you can also use a dehumidifier to help reduce the kitchen humidity. 4. You can throw a few cloves of garlic directly in the rice bag or rice jar. In the corner of the kitchen, especially near the trash can, place pest control medicine.
